When you run the Driver Test Manager that is included in the Windows Driver Kit and in the Windows Logo Kit, certain tasks may fail. This behavior occurs even though the parent job of the tasks does not fail.

RESOLUTION

No action is required. These failures are expected or acceptable. You may ignore a failing Driver Test Manager task if the parent job of the task succeeds.

MORE INFORMATION

Most Driver Test Manager jobs run the WDKDriverValidationLibraryJob task and the WDK File Signature verification Library Job task. These tasks frequently fail. Because the failures are acceptable or expected, the tasks have a FailureAction status of IgnoreFailureAndContinue. Therefore, the parent job that is running the tasks does not fail when these tasks fail.
